Production Photos from Antebellum

Principle Photography on our most recent production has wrapped, a rip-roaring success by all accounts, and now a new gallery of production photographs are available on the Antebellum website.

To check them out, CLICK HERE.

We will be regularly updating the website in the coming weeks, as editing and promotion proceed. Before long, you can expect video clips, and image captures from the actual footage. Not to mention the forthcoming official poster.

[PS: The name list has only just reached us at the web team, out in California, so names have been added and corrected on many of the photographs. If you spot a problem, or see yourself without a name, please post a correction below! We'll be happy to fix it!]

Antbellum Shooting Complete!

I am very happy to announce that principal photography on Antebellum is complete! After a strenuous four days of shooting from sunset to sunrise, braving the mosquitos during the day and the bitter chill of New England at night, the tenacious cast and crew were able to shoot the full 27 pages in all their gory detail! I want to extend a special thanks to everyone who came out and helped. This is a great accomplishment for Misplaced Planet, and without you, I could never have seen this dream of mine come true. I have no doubt that when you see the finished product, you will know that your time was not ill spent. Everyone was key to the production, from the Producer to the PAs to the guy on fire watch. You were all needed, and your efforts will always be remembered in Antbellum. For more information and updates about Antebellum, check out the website here. Thanks, Michael Benni Pierce Director, Antebellum

Back to Life, Going Strong!

Misplaced Planet's production of a Michael Benni Pierce film, Antebellum, written by J Wilder Konschak, and produced by Zak Kauffman, begins principle photography Friday, April 15th, 2005.

Check it out online by clicking here.

For the shoot, Shaun Boyle will take time away from his thesis film Home Team to serve as Director of Photography. Mark Hugo and Karl Moore star as Linder and Burl, one an amateur ghost-hunter, and the other a reluctant tag-along. A truly wonderful crew has been collected from the Pioneer Valley of Amherst, MA, including uncounted Hampshire College students and alumni. In other news, Misplaced Planet's precious domain has been renewed for 1 year. Massive thanks goes out to everyone who contributed. As a result of your kindness, this will be a very big year indeed. To show my personal appreciation, I will dedicate myself to developing new areas in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!
